Job Opportunities

STEAM:CODERS offers an exciting approach to science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). We have created an easy way to navigate the subjects. Our 8-week modules are designed to educate, inspire, and equip students with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to pursue academic and career success in STEAM. The curriculum is age and grade appropriate.

We are looking for passionate, intelligent, and dedicated individuals to join STEAM:CODERS. For a complete job description, click on the positions listed below. Prior experience working with elementary, middle and/or high school students is preferred. Compensation is hourly and will be based upon experience. Volunteer opportunities are also available.

Instructor

Assistant Instructor

Assistant Instructors will collaborate with Lead Instructors to deliver a pre-determined curriculum, supervise classroom activities and work with the Site Coordinator and Volunteers to create a productive, fun, and enlightening experience for the students. This role requires someone with a strong work ethic, a passion for K-12 education, punctuality, and responsibility.

Site Coordinator

STEAM:CODERS offers classes (coding, robotics, etc.) after-school and on Saturday mornings, in 8-10 week sessions. Site Coordinators are required to arrive at least thirty (30) minutes before class, to set-up the classroom, sign-in students and organize the day’s activities. In addition, Site Coordinators will remain at least 30 minutes after class, to clean up and sign-out students to their parents/guardians.
