Coding & Game Design - Grades 2-4

Video Game Design combines the excitement of video games, the art of design and the principles of computer programming. This process will introduce students to a variety of skills necessary for Video Game Design. This class provides students with experience in the technical and creative skills of computer programming. A video game designer is similar to the  director of a movie; the designer creates the vision and implements the artistic and technical elements to produce a video game. Video games remain a effective tool to motivate problem solving, improve personal well being and inspire community interactions. Class takes place on Saturday mornings from 8:30am to 12:00pm.
